Beautiful! I did the same today. That and clean the house. Even mopped the floors 😂 We have a long four years ahead of us. We need to protect our peace while we can.

Using it but no longer commenting or liking videos anymore. I don’t know what’s happened with our data. Lots of IT professionals say that it takes about 12 hours to transfer servers. The whole thing is weird so I’m moving cautiously and using this more for politics.

Same girl—so sad that I don’t have to algorithm to help too 😭

@greatgranny save your energy. Best we can do to simulate a community similar to TT now is to just block trolls. We have a long four years ahead of us.

That’s what I’m mourning the loss of. New TikTok is sus.

Seriouslyyyy

100%. I’m protesting the best way I can right now—staying off Meta-owned social media platforms. But lost the ability to organize + mobilize with my community.

For now I’m just screaming into the void of this algorithm to find others. Following everyone I can to stay connected.

Your feelings are valid and safe here. I can’t even count the number of times that the app saved people by helping to “zero in” or crowdsource their medical diagnosis—when medical professional were stumped. Here’s an article how a doctor (who now has a Netflix documentary on it) is crowdsourcing:
'Diagnosis' column that uses crowdsourcing leaps to Netflix

We’ve lost our community and ability to organize effectively. Some lost jobs or the ability to market themselves in an already over-saturated market—but an excellent algorithm to draw customers. We’ve all lost friends. All unexpectedly (it was 8:30PM MT when the app stopped working for me).

I hear that so much. Like why does there have to be beef with both governments if the people are getting along. I just want peace 😢

I haven’t gotten on RN yet so I’m fully feeling this. Deleted insta, FB and WhatsApp so I’m dark minus this but also not the same. Like where’s my mini community? 😭😭

Me too 😭 it was like an immediate void. Like my room suddenly went silent.

And this is exactly what we’re saying when we loss our community. Our comment sections would never.

100%

It’s more than that, before we even expected it we loss community.
