Seeing #AsianLiterature front and centre with its own category (and not just a tiny corner amongst ‘others’) was a pleasant surprise. I’ve been coming to this English-language bookstore in #Paris for over 10 years, and it’s great to see these shifts
At a bookstore, one of the shelves has the category ‘Asian Literature’ and is filled with books from different Asian authors

Apparently, Paris has only had around 10 hours of sunlight this November (and yes, I’ve noticed 😅). So, seeing this today just adds a little extra spring in my step

Highly looking forward to tucking into this book and seeing the role food plays on a country’s identity and culture. As someone who comes from a mixed heritage, I’m curious how much this plays into my own identity.
