Yeah you can let your guard down a bit. It's not always foolproof, but some of my favourite men in my life already have partners lol (who I also get along with very well)

They can be life-changing but all I had to show for 15 years on them was a binge drinking problem that disappeared as soon as I tapered off them 💀 interestingly some people are put on them to help curb alcoholism so ymmv, some people just crave sugar
