is so rainbow colored everywhere here. The rise of the right is unfortunately happening everywhere :( UK goverment sides with that genocidal monster Natanyahu so I lost faith in them. And the prices in UK are rising. House insurance, electricity, water... the bills grow :(

As for UK... a lot depends on the region, if it's a city etc. Overall I personally didn't have any trouble so far, not while attending the Pride, not when getting back home in the evenings etc and I found the local communities such as choir pretty accepting and diverse. But I know not everything

or a low voluntary contribution that counts towards your retirement. Even on my best earning years my healtcare contribution in UK is LOWER than the one a business person has to pay in Poland. And there's tons of accounting/paperwork in Poland. So I wouldn't reccomend on that side.

If you are planning to do any freelancing/your own business... man, you are fucked. My friend from Poland paid several times more in goverment payments than I did last year. You need to pay for healthcare even if you hadn't earned anything that year. In UK in that situation you pay 0

I'm originally from Poland but moved to UK nearly ten years ago. Both countries have their troubles and I have to grit my teeth choosing the "lesser evil" goverment officials so I'm not enterirely happy. One deciding factor between UK and Poland for me was the ease of running my business

I'm just so exhousted with this. I had lost so many community places I have poured my time and heart into over the years. Livejournal, Tumblr, Deviantart... Now Twitter and Tiktok. I'm starting to think I just shouldn't bother with any new socials :(

That's a good idea! Coloring books, journaling, sending handmade postcards to friends... Hell, you can even just take notes with those colorful markers! My world is happier since I started writing only with color and nit my boring old pens.

Thanks, I will check if there's anything left to verify. I started using this account only now but it was created when BS still had the invites so it should be good on that front. but good to know the pack additions don't always take as I plan to do some packs of my own in the future.
