We need to start a revolution. Education + Employment can coexist so much more peacefully.

All the feels 🥰

A5: The more you know about your students, the better. Of course, they're not going to share it all, but make sure you have a solid student information system to house the data and extra bonus points for at-risk management software to proactively detect any slips in grades, attendance, etc. #EMchat

Yes! I've also heard a lot of skepticism from the employer side of even degree-granting programs "passing students just to get paid" which really hurts the cause. #EmChat 😑

A4: There's not a long enough character count for me to unload my thoughts and feelings on this one. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." "Empowerment is in the hands of the degree holder." Everything is subjective and nothing is black and white anymore. 😅 #EMChat

Speaking on behalf of early adopter clients 5 years ago - YES. Huge time saver for admissions once the machine learning was populated enough to really take the load off. And super positive student experiences trying to navigate college websites which we all know can be beastly! #EMChat

A3: Strike that balance! Leave the follow-up/confirmation-style comms to automation and the more sensitive, comprehensive, complex stuff to the amazing human teammates. Leverage your CRM for automation, equip your reps with cloud-based texting, and get an AI chatbot going for your website. #EMChat

And also reinforcing the offerings and paths with current students here and there to help with retention because you KNOW those other guys are going to market to them to transfer at some point, too! We live in a "swipe right/left" era and it's HARD to optimize student success. #EMchat

A2: YES. If you haven't started the planning yet, you're behind. Whether they're "traditional" students transferring or adults rethinking their careers - people have been reimagining a LOT. Need to empower students with options that meet them where they WANT to be, not just where they are. #EMChat

Overnight oats actually. I am so boring, but I have such low capacity to make food decisions in my life so the easier the routine is, the better. I mean... eggs and ham are welcome but usually a weekend treat 😋

Being a working parent is HARD! We can relate a lot even though you refuse to accept my #Bills blood 😆

Life changing!

Hi! Natalie here from the #edtech side. I've been drinking coffee with two scoops of collagen peptides for a few months now! Amazing way to get 20g of protein and caffeine to start the day. 🤓 #EMchat

Haha or family is (almost) everything 😅

A6: Haven't seen it in practice firsthand, but trying to learn more about #ungrading on the academic side. Anyone incorporating that into their enrollment comms yet? #EMChat

Yes! Automation can be a gamechanger in allowing staff to focus on real-time conversations! Follow-ups, reminders... students aren't expecting humans to send those. They need humans for what they're best at. 😊 #EMChat

Congrats, Katie! Authenticity is key and it's amazing what a refresh can do to turn engagement around. #EMChat
