Tell me your favorite movie not many people know.

I've never met or spoken to anyone who has even heard of this film unless I was the one who showed it to them.

Oh, I am so mad that they filmed this and cut it! Why? It sounds like Bowen is saying it was cut because Ethan Slater's body was too good? What??? Oh they better reinstate this on the DVD, the timeline makes NO sense for INTG to be the literal day after Popular! www.instagram.com/reel/DDhsHq_...

It's too soon!! When Fiyero catches her tossing, he says let's get to class - and it's the lion cub class and INTG. It reads like the same day, even though Elphie doesn't have the poppies in the toss moment. I fucking said they needed a friendship montage there to show that they've all grown close!

Wicked Spoilers...

As soon as I saw the film, which was 21 Nov, I was like, love it, but I have a fairly major pacing issue that I wish they'd taken 90 seconds of screen time to fix. It's the fact that the events of INTG take place like, less than 24 hours after DTL/Popular. Here:

This himbo cat weighs well over 7kg - that's 15+ pounds - and he wants to do this every night.

I've never actually seen the film version, maybe this year is the year. I've heard it's one of the better book adaptations for Discworld and maybe we need a reminder of this sentiment...

Crying!!! Why he do that with his paws?

He is not staying, I got him an intake slot at a no-kill cat rescue on Monday - we actually went there before getting home to see if they could take him immediately but the intake vet wasn't there - but he's a nice weekend guest. A real little lover. Calling him Ernest, due to the whole bag thing.

The deal with the guy was not the worst case scenario I was vibechecking for (snake food/dog baiting) but it was shadier than I just found him/don't know what to do, & he encouraged me to take him when I said I've helped cats before, so I got a box from a pharmacy instead of the bag and off we went.

Accidentally acquired a kitten on Thursday... An old guy was carrying him on the bus in a shopping bag (not plastic, thankfully), kitten was yelling, we got off at the same place and I was like, politely, "do you need some help with that kitten?" and long story short he gave him to me to look after.

The story arcs off camera is, I think, exactly what he's saying we were too dumb and unimaginative to get. That we just needed to be active participants in understanding what was going on in the show and where we should pick things up. And like. I'm not anti subtext! But dude!!!! What the fuck!

If you're not currently numbing your mind with these three fools, you should get on that. Truly the most distracting thing you could possibly watch right now, because it's both super hot and categorically insane. Soaking my brain in whatever chemicals Ryan Murphy is putting in the boat water.

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but is putting trivia on pads a universal thing, or... I'm assuming probably not, hey.

Anyway, here's a blank version of this form if this reading game is of interest to any of you.

I've really struggled to read books in recent times, which is depressing, but I've started a new reading challenge, most of which I already own physically here in my house. I am not a DnD player but members of the group chat who passed this challenge on are, so they're rolling for me when needed.

Please read our story and consider sharing, donating or even lending us some funds that we can return down the line. We really aren't able to deal with the fallout of this crisis in any way right now.

Anyone got any sort of advice or experience with painting over or getting rid of lead paint on exterior walls of an old house? This is patches that have been exposed under newer paint.

Lizard brain repeatedly - REPEATEDLY - kept thinking that these terracotta dishes set to dry were some sort of large brown cookies cooling on a tray and being disappointed, so I had to find a large brown cookie recipe to make. Extreme success, I don't usually do big cookies, perhaps I am converted.
