Started playing The Chant. Enjoying it, but Im stuck on a fight (trying not to lower difficulty) and needed a break to wind down before bed...I'm not opposed to lowering difficulty if I need to, but I keep coming SO close to defeating it, so should be able to at current difficulty after a breather

Played Nobody Wants to Die. I enjoyed it, but didn't get a good ending (honestly, it wasn't terrible given the world and circumstances, but it was definitely not ideal).

Played Hercule Poirot: The London Case. Relaxing game without any real replay potential, but I'm not in the mood for anything challenging right now, enjoy Agatha Christie, and a cozy mystery hit the spot . Its basically an easier, not as interesting/challenging version of the Sherlock holmes games

Watched Red Snow 2021...I enjoyed it, and how I thought it ended, but didn't really like the epilogue as much as if it had ended without it. I also thought it was cute but a bit boring until the last 20 minutes or so

I actually rather liked The Night Sitter. I don't know that its that good, or even that funny, but i really enjoyed the use of colored lighting, and thought the friendship between the kid and mc ended up being sweet.

Still bingeing Robert Bloch short stories. I didn't realize just how many of his stories were in the 70s horror movies/anthologies I've been watching. His stories are in The House That Dripped Blood, Asylum, Torture Garden, The Skull, Tales From the Darkside...

Finished The King In Yellow. Prefer the creepier 1st half, but 2nd half romances interesting. 1st 2 had their own element of horror. The last 2 seemed to just be romances, but each of the 4 non supernatural romances seemed peripherally connected to the previous w/out actually being connected

Started playing CAYNE. When I finished Stasis I was like that was great but effed up. I need a little break before playing CAYNE... like a year ago. Haha. I finally started it. Just a short gaming session today but I haven't played anything for a few weeks (been reading and watching old horror)

Recently read Psycho by Robert Bloch and enjoyed it. So now I have his Midnight Pleasures short story collection that I'm going to start along with the collection by Daphne Du Maurier. Also turned up my copy of The King In Yellow to keep reading...

Read the short story The Birds by Daphne Du Maurier and really liked it. I know the movie is VERY different, but I haven't seen it since I was a teen, so may need to rewatch it. Though I think the short story is definitely more frightening.
