Kings Kebab on East Street in Bristol have a person working there who uses an untaxed car with no MOT to deliver their kebabs. Avon and Somerset police won’t let me report it unless the person is driving it at time I call but also don’t do anything when I report it when it is being driven.

@firstbus.bsky.social @bristolgreenparty.bsky.social @bristolcouncil.bsky.social a bus driver is denying a disabled person access to the bus claiming I’m using an e-scooter, I’m on a folding mobility scooter which is the equivalent of a wheelchair.

This morning I’ve cleaned the litter tray, had a shower, cleaned my teeth and dressed.

In the before times this would have taken 15-20 minutes and I’d not have noticed the energy expenditure.

Today it took 3 hours and I’m exhausted. It used 20% of my pace points (I’ll explain those in a bit).

#BookSky if you haven’t read or listened to Emergency Skin by @nkjemisin.bsky.social then stop what you are doing and read or listen to it right now.

My review - Let the greedy launch themselves into space, only without the selfish billionaires can our world prosper.

I am crying tears of hope

My Pen is the Wing of a Bird

If you don’t read anything else in your life, read this book!

I’ve learned so much and enjoyed every story.
I hope more stories from these women fly free like the wing of a bird.
I hope one day they have the freedom to write, study, and achieve their dreams

Hysterical by @drpragyaagarwal.bsky.social

This books was really interesting but also made me hysterically angry about how society genders emotions.

This is my fifth attempt at making reading poetry a daily habit this year. I started in January with A Poem for Every Day, I did not read every day. On the 1st March - A poem for every spring day, I did not read every day. On the 1st June - can you guess? Same on the 1st September… #BookSky

Today has been wonderful, I’ve bleached my hair ready to dye it in a few days when I have the energy. Food shopping has been delivered and put away. I’ve started my journal for December, written a postcard to a dear friend, and had the best roast dinner and sticky toffee pudding ever.

Followed by the best sticky toffee pudding I’ve ever had served with vanilla clotted cream ice cream
