It was lovely to see primary teachers from across North Tyneside and Newcastle at our breakfast meeting.

There was dedicated chat on matters affecting primary colleagues in our area.

If you missed it, look out for future events!

It can be challenging to say no. Learning to say no is a vital part of being a good teacher and maintaining your own wellbeing.

Without boundaries, you can become overwhelmed and overworked.

ALL staff need boundaries because their time & energy has a direct impact on pupils.

I responded to an important debate brought by Sam Rushworth MP on the attainment of boys.

We’re working hard to break the link between background and success.

I set out how our Curriculum and Assessment Review, RISE teams and more expert teachers will help us reach this goal.

Last week’s spending review did not deliver the change that our members and pupils deserve.
As General Secretary Matt Wrack will move heaven and earth to win more funding for our schools.

Make your vote for General Secretary work for teachers.

Vote Matt Wrack

As an experienced trade unionist, Matt Wrack knows how the impact of poverty on our pupils makes our job as teachers more challenging.

A vote for Matt to be our General Secretary is a vote for someone who will leave no stone unturned to improve our working conditions.
