For Kenma, the transition from “needing to look down at Shoyo” to “almost being able to look Shoyo in the eye” might be the most visible sign of Shoyo’s growth……Kenma might suddenly realize this one day as an adult, and then realize that they’ve already been together for so many years.

Kenma responds by saying that Shoyo is like an undefeatable boss. Shoyo would then pout and say, “What? I always thought I was your adventure companion!” That kind of talks would be cute.

Shoyo might be thinking: No matter how my relationship with Kenma turns out in the end, I want to do my best to make Kenma feel fun. At the very least, I’ll do what I can for now. I don’t want Kenma to feel bored…
