Today was amazing but exhausting. We hired a guide/photographer and went to off-the-beaten track waterfalls and some popular spots.

Yesterday at Sky Lagoon.

WTF?!? Border Czar Tom Homan claimed that ICE and Border Patrol agents don’t need probable cause to detain people they suspect are undocumented, saying they can do so based on factors like physical appearance. This is straight-up racial profiling, not law enforcement.

Another day, another hot lagoon. I am back in Reykjavik and enjoying Sky Lagoon.

My last morning in Hvammsvík until next week. I will miss this amazing place.

Loving this slice of heaven! I am bummed to be leaving Hvammsvík tomorrow, but I will be back very soon.

I am very much loving my little Artist Lodge in Hvammsvík, Iceland. Setting aside that it's just a beautiful place to be, I get to spend the afternoons lolling about in hot, geothermal lagoons looking out over the ocean.

Rowdy Potato is getting to avoid making eye contact with the truly massive dog behind her.

If any of you know Fred Armisen, please tell him how to pronounce Kiribati so that my mind will be at ease.

Then tell him he's brilliant, because he really is!

Coming home at night to those ears waiting in the window makes me wonder why I ever leave the house at all.

I've only been to two of the restaurants on the just-released World's (supposed) 50 Best Restaurants, and I would say both are good but over-rated. In Lisbon, I would choose 50 Seconds over Belcanto. In NYC, I would choose Eleven Madison or Masa over Atomix. Not sure I trust this list.

My first post should definitely be a throwback to when Rowdy Potato had a lot less hair. I had to get her a totally realistic toupee to boost her self confidence. You can tell by her RBF that it worked.
