This entire thread but especially this. This continues after the election. Some of my friends are still parroting what the current administration tells them, often word for word.
In other words, the campaign told people highly individualized stories on social media about what their campaign promises were. And in an America where most people don’t sit down and read a newspaper — and the newspapers did shit reporting anyway — it’s easy to mislead folks.

The University of Alaska Anchorage recently announced it’s restructuring how its Native Student Services program functions, and some Alaska Native students are protesting the change this afternoon.
