Nursery were very excited to see the fire engine 🚒 today as part of our ‘people who help us’ topic. The children got to go inside the fire engine, use the hose and hear the siren!

Reception were very lucky today to go out and see the fire engine that was visiting the school. We even got to use the hose pipe today! 😍

We have practiced some mindfulness in nursery today. We did some meditation this morning then some floor colouring this afternoon. Laying on tummy’s to colour is not only calming, but can also stabilise the shoulder and allow for more isolated hand movements helping to develop motor skills
