Motorcyclist Kei’vontae Dobson died after losing control of his Harley-Davidson and crashing on Hobson Pike near Wilder Drive. Witnesses saw the motorcycle wobbling. Dobson was wearing a helmet, and speed and impairment are not believed to be factors.

One person was killed in a deadly crash involving a garbage truck and a tractor-trailer on I-24 West near Joelton at mile marker 33.6. Further details aren't known at this time. This crash was previously missing from our database.

Michael Capps (65) died in a head-on crash on Whites Creek Pike involving a semi-truck and two passenger vehicles. The semi hit Capps' Kia Forte, which then hit a Nissan Sentra. The drivers of the semi and Nissan were unhurt. We had previously missed this crash in our dataset.

John Love, 70, of Fairview, died in a three-vehicle crash on I-24 near Briley Pkwy. His Dodge Caravan maneuvered from the right exit lane, struck a Ram 3500, then crossed I-24 and was hit broadside by a Ford F-550. No one else was seriously hurt; no impairment was found.

A 72-year-old Hopkinsville, KY man was killed walking on I-24 West (MM 42.8) after his car broke down; he was trying to find a mile marker for a wrecker. He was struck by vehicles, and no drivers remained at the scene. Police are asking for witnesses or involved drivers to contact them.

A driver attempting a left turn on Long Hollow Pk from the I-65 South exit ramp stuck the passenger side of another vehicle. No further details are known at this time.

Jonathan McLeod, 44, of White House, was killed in a head-on crash on Clarksville Pike. A southbound pickup truck swerved into oncoming traffic to bypass a turning vehicle and struck McLeod’s northbound Jeep. McLeod died at the hospital; the 65-year-old pickup driver is in critical condition.

Motorcyclist Brennan Strain (29) died after his Harley Davidson, traveling northbound on Dickerson Pike, struck the passenger side of a van that pulled into his path. The van then hit a stopped truck. No impairment was found; police are investigating if speed was a factor.
