Unfortunately, this issue is often overlooked. There is an urgent need to recognise the harmful impact of structural racism on development and well-being. We must move beyond traditional health narratives and address the structural discriminatory practices on health and access to adequate care.

I wanted to share this post because it highlights how racism impacts individuals throughout their lives, influencing multiple aspects of their experiences and opportunities. As a researcher, I consider this as an important point to be taken into account in planning and executing research projects.
