Love you mate. The amount of time, effort and care you put into ASM is inspiring. Not enough people see the contributions you make to this incredibly welcoming, diverse and fun community.

I definitely think these edgelords are confusing “woke” for “kind of amateur” cause - echoing what others have said - the event itself and the community are incredibly accepting. Or maybe our prime time is just gremlin hours.

We jokingly thought we made it when we started getting 4chan threads for the event a couple years ago, but there are plenty of the exact comments you’d expect in those.

ASM still has that early GDQ feel just due to it being smaller, lower stakes, rougher around the edges.
