it was (mostly) men being gay about mlp, a refutation of your "0 Queer people interested" assertation. The MLP sphere has a much higher percentage of Queer folks than standard hobby spaces, and before the controversies around Mare Fair, many Queer people were clearly excited for it. Even I was.

The internet didn't tell me to hate AI. The environmental harm, theft, and real actually harm to humans is what made me hate AI. It's literally the only thing that deserves any kind of all-encompassing "It's bad, don't use or partake in it" label.

The only thing that truly deserves the universal "It's bad and nobody should like or partake in it" label of 'slop' is GenAI. GenAI is slop because it's stolen nothingburger images and text that destroy the planet. Everything else is personal preference and needs to be left alone with the term

I've become LESS conservative as I've aged. I'm working on being a better person and as I do that, I move further and further to the left, because that's what being a good person makes you do.
