Really the only way they can fix these issues is to redesign the road to be more friendly to pedestrians. if they could put in a median with planters with a turn pocket for intersections that would be a great first step. they gotta make cars feel like they need to go slower to be safe :(

I regularly drive a Bolt from the Seattle area to Surrey BC and even with the slower fast charging (55ish kW max) I just park it at a charger and go eat something or go shop and by the time I'm finished it's done charging! I have to charge a slight bit on the way back but I do it for like 15 mins.
