If it weren't for the fact that I just watched VS Gigan an hour ago, I wouldn't be as pissed off I just watched the same movie. That being said seeing Jet Jaguar be Jet Jaguar, and also finding out this is where the dropkick came from definitely makes me like it.

If it weren't for the fact that I just watched VS Gigan an hour ago, I wouldn't be as pissed off I just watched the same movie. That being said seeing Jet Jaguar be Jet Jaguar, and also finding out this is where the dropkick came from definitely makes me like it.

There was a certain point in this movie where I said outloud, “God I wish we were back at the human plot” which I don’t think should ever happen? I think it’s funny that, up to a certain point, that Gigan got second billing in a movie named after him.

A really great time! I love how this movie was a different vibe compared to other MCU properties. “There wasn’t a quirky Marvel moment here.” As my brother put it.
Still unsure how I feel about the future of the MCU, but this movie defo made me more invested.

Wasn't really feeling this one. Human characters was whatever, the fighting was whatever, plot was whatever. The one saving grace was the climax where Godzilla just tears Hedorah a new one cuz he was that pissed off at her.

Enjoyed my time with this one more. The only reason I liked the human characters this time cuz one of the guys had a fat ass and the group fixated on that the entire watch party. Also the monster fight between Tamatoa was really fun.

The main alien invasion plot was whatever but it kept me staring at the screen instead of my phone most of the time. The real highlight were the Kaiju battles of course.

I judge my GL adaptations based on how creative the power uses get. I give this a solid B-tier in terms of creativity. Which is good cuz this is a solid GL movie. Characters are on point, Sinestro is a great antagonistic, and a third thing.

This season is fine y'all are just pansies. This is definitely the weakest season of Squid Game, I raised an eyebrow sometimes, this doesn't need to exist. But as an overall pack I think it's solid.
