Seems to me Wil is a good narrator overall. And he seems like a good guy! If I’m on the fence on getting an audiobook, him as a narrator can be a deciding factor.

I can relate to this so much. The physical act of writing by hand makes such a difference.

Also, my first fountain pen was also a Lamy (All-star. I now have 2 All-Stars and 3 safaris. And a bunch of others. For longer writing, I always come back to one of the Lamys)

I had a friend who worked for a company that made petrol pumps for gas stations! According to him, they could, and did, design the pumps, based on climate and other factors so that they needed service with specific intervals. All to make the clients more dependent on them

A substantial part of my thesis was written in the gym. All I had to do afterwards was to type it down.

For me, writing with fountain pens have made a big difference. It’s smoother, more enjoyable, my penmanship has improved. I know I sound a bit fanboy-ish, but I am honestly surprised by the differences

With that said, one thing I have noticed is that my penmanship improves when using fountain pens. Not calligraphy as such, but the physical act of writing does become different. Which also makes me write more.
