What a powerful way to demonstrate that you can have a deep commitment to a place, a culture, a history and a language and use that connection to connect to the whole world and to all humanity. To see differences as complementary, a richer harmony.

Anyway, nationalism does not spare those who have grown up in the heart of a community with all the deep links of history, sentiment, family and land. Nationalism looks constantly for traitors and finds them in any who are willing to stand for human beings over grandiose anti-human politics
