Man, remember Trespasser? That game had such potential. My poor heart as a child was crushed when that game released as a such a buggy mess. I really wanted to believe.

This is my favorite cover for a release

Do you have a Virtual Boy cartridge dumper like this? It’d be really awesome to release this.

Might be more formal than what you’re thinking but we’ve been trying to print a book of photos for every year. A nice quality one is pricey and it takes a long time for to curate but I do love having my memories in a form that no technical glitch or change in ToS can take away.

My Analogue Pocket’s D-Pad has always bothered me. I could never seem to get good diagonal movement and it felt unresponsive. So I used a DMG game boy D-Pad, some small round stickers, and blue tack to fix it. While at it, I replaced the buttons with clear ones. Works great now!

For #randomgamesaturday I have Silent Hill. Despite living in Europe, this one’s an NTSC copy. It was one of those times where someone was trying to offload their American copy of the game and it was cheaper than the going rate for a PAL version. My other two Silent Hill games (2 & 3) are PAL.

Some people want sports cars when they retire. All I want is an Aiwa Mega CD boombox

I couldn’t wait so I built my own using @cosam-the-great.bsky.social’s custom board.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year

I’ve only had a little time to play it but I have to say I am very impressed with the Analogue 3D and can see me using it a lot. I have an original N64 (RGB modded) connected to a CRT and a MiSTer with the N64 core but the Analogue 3D really feels like an enhancement of that original experience.

My shell is not nearly as cool but, let me tell you, the OLED screen is fantastic

Such a good game! I own…5 copies of it (PAL, 2x NTSC, JPN, and NTSC Gamecube) #blueskiesarcadia

Recently finished Popful Mail for the Sega CD. What a delightfully fun game. It’s really a shame that an English localization is so inaccessible to most people. It definitely has that Working Designs artificially dialed up difficulty but I really enjoyed it nonetheless.

I finally have 100% completed my @cosam-the-great.bsky.social Sega Neptune build. I got an excellent 3D print of DVIZIX’s shell and some decals. I’m really happy with how this turned out and it is really fun playing on a Sega console that I built. Def got some childhood wish fulfillment going here.

For #randomgamesaturday I have Albert Odyssey for Sega Saturn. Ok, maybe it isn’t so random since I did another Working Designs game last week. This one is a classic JRPG and is the gaming equivalent of comfort food for me. You basically know exactly what you’re going to get here. It’s a good time.

For #randomgamesaturday, I’ve got Popful Mail for the Sega CD. This is a Working Designs Game so, of course, it has a unique/bizarre localization, ramped up difficulty, and their characteristic voice acting. It’s a really fun game though and I wish there were more ways for people to enjoy in English

Happy birthday to one of my favorite games!

I’ll be waiting for that sick Motorola StarTAC to go on sale.

For #randomgamesaturday, I’m going with a favorite; Radiant Silvergun for the Sega Saturn. Such a beautiful game and so much fun to play. Has incredible music and sound too.

Did you have the one where the wheel actually spun? I was just playing with my iPod the other day

Just getting around to trying Doom CD32X Fusion and I am blown away. It is unbelievable playing Doom at this resolution, sound quality, and frame rate on a Genesis+32X+Sega CD. Incredible work.

I think a Virtual Boy is the best way to play Virtual Boy. If your neck isn’t in agony after, are you even playing it??! But, in all seriousness, that 3DS homebrew is incredible. Nintendo missed the boat big time not leaning into that and having Virtual Boy games on 3DS eShop.
