So needless to say, I am going to drown myself in homemade kefir on the off chance I've grown the strain at home, and get back to my artsy to-do list so I can make that medicine happen!

If I do go the Nigerian store route? They're roughly $5.20 a box, but shipping is the expensive part. I'd have to save for a good lot of boxes.

Estimates put 20 boxes + shipping at ballpark $150 US. Not the most outrageous cost for medicine, but it's not cheap!

The solution? The closest I've come to is a probiotic made in India called Oxalo or Oxalo Forte. The only place I've seen that ships this stuff worldwide is a store in Nigeria.

I've emailed the company directly to see if there's a US retailer or they ship here. I don't have high hopes, but I tried!
