Expanding SCOTUS is a short term plan which will eventually end in what we already have. The better way to do it would be to make their appointments unbiased— having a president do it corrupts the system from the beginning

As much as I despise the redistricting, Texas forced their hand. I would even go as far as to say they did this as honorably as they could in only adding the seats needed to zero out the TX gains

This may be the worst take I’ve ever seen. As long as someone is fighting for freedom their crimes are suddenly justified and acceptable? You can still do wrongs while pursuing what you believe is right. War crimes aren’t just applicable to the “bad guys”

Freedom fighters aren’t exempt from the evils they commit. Horrible things have been done with the best of intentions

If they had any sense at all they’d just seize a suspect boat and go “look at these awful drugs!” Even if it was a plant that would look better than obliterating everyone on the boat and score easy PR. But no, they went the dumb AND evil route

It’s a shame that people can’t separate governments from the population. I can support Israel and Palestine’s rights to exist while condemning Netanyahu and Hamas, but some just simply refuse to acknowledge them as different groups
