I ripped off the mask in 2022 when the mandate for masks on planes was lifted. Not because I doubt their efficacy or anything - I run hot, am already warm in a dress shirt, vest, tie, poly blend etc. The mask was miserable. I’ll still wear gloves to avoid others’ fecal germs on my hands, though.

Passengers don’t wash their hands. Our jumpseats are next to the toilets.. we hear the split second between the toilet flushing and the door opening/yet no sink handwashing noise. The gloves are for the people that grope our entire hand when receiving the drink from us, lol.
