Here’s another where I had to adjust the lighting to make the photo accurate to how I actually saw it, versus the iPhone auto-exposure.
The lighting was much warmer toned in the building at the far end beyond the bridge. I would need to edit it more for accuracy. It was a stunning view.

Took some night photos. The first is what it looked like to me; second is how my iPhone auto-exposed it which, while VERY WELL DONE if I had wanted to see these details, is not the actual effect I wanted at the moment lol (excellent quality tho because it was SO DARK).

Last night at my favorite hotel I’ve ever stayed at so I’m forcing myself to stay up with a pot of coffee and enjoy the beautiful lounge with some books instead of going to sleep early like usual (tomorrow I switch to a cheaper hotel 😔✊).

I’m wearing mid-range luxe brands like Ann Taylor (and equivalent euro brands) combined with the best of Uniqlo at the most luxury hotel in this city and looking way classier than all the nouveau riche tourists here 💀 You can tell they’re not old money 😭

Anyway, I’m in Venice now!! For an entire week :)
And holy moly I’m already in LOVE. It’s incredible right now with barely any crowds.

The rooms are very very quiet, soft, and calming. I have honeymoon clients staying here in the spring. The location is excellent. ☺️ I’m very happy with it!

I went to a brocante (antique/flea market) today and found a Sarreguemines ravier dish that I’ve seen in an antiquing video 🥹 I’m so happy! I really love it. It’s from the 1880s-1890s.
