The National Asian Pacific American Women's Forum builds power with AAPI women and girls.
While AANHPI mothers with a college degree experienced a tiny increase in employment, AANHPI mothers w/o a college degree faced the sharpest decline in labor force participation. This is why it is important to disaggregate AAPI data!

Research shows this bill will directly cause 51,000 preventable deaths each year.

The Budget Reconciliation Bill/The “Big Beautiful Bill” was signed into law last week. This inhumane legislation is the largest wealth transfer from working people to the ultra-wealthy in U.S. history, threatening the safety and survival of AAPI women and gender-expansive people nationwide.

It will mean longer delays, longer travel, or no care at all. This is yet another blow to reproductive health care access, and another example of how our communities are being systematically excluded from the basic right to make decisions about our bodies, our health, and our futures.
