Bingo! They want women at home making babies instead of getting an education and working. Impending elderly baby boomer nursing care crisis be damned.

Same thing happened with my sister in law who is black, and my nephew her biological son, who has light brown hair and blue eyes. In public, strangers often assumed she was his nanny. They live in Texas though, so that probably didn't help.

You idiot. You threw away the only leverage you had, after a sweeping victory at the polls. If you do get that ACA vote in the senate, then it goes your way the house, then back to senate. Then to Trump to sign. You know you already lost. Who paid you?

How is it that all 8 who voted yes aren't up for reelection? That is not a coincidence. We all know you are a coward who is stuck in a past where bipartisanship was possible. You will not get what you want.

Wow! Just wow! The Woodlands? Shit's getting real now. My MAGA mom and stepdad live there. It's a wealthy conservative haven.

Dude, we are *long past* rising costs and healthcare being the #1 priority.

When I was a young adult, about 30 years ago, if your family was lucky enough to have health insurance, you were kicked off it when you turned 18. Unless you were enrolled in college full time. then you could stay on until you were 21.

Gaiman is another damned disappointment....LeGuin was a G.O.A.T.
August 10, 2025 at 7:37 PM
She ripped off LeGuin's Earthsea series, and Gaiman's 'the books of magic' series to write the Harry Potter books. With more than just a dash of problematic racism and stereotyping for character development because she's often unoriginal in that department.

Yes, this. First college, late 80s through early 90s....50 dollars tuition per undergrad semester. Few As and no student evals. Final grades posted on the door by SS number. Crazy times. Fast forward to 2012. $1800 an undergrad quarter. Everyone who bothered to show up got an A.

a lot of it is heredity/biology. I was on a very strict 1200 cal a day low fat/carbs diet for about 3 years. I walked nearly every day. 5'8" 'Should' weigh 150 to 160 according to bmi. Dropped from 260 to 220. Then stayed at 220 for a year and a half. Gave up, but kept eating healthy. Now weigh 230.

My best friends in high school were identical twins, and this syncing behavior is familiar to me. They weren't quite as in tune for as much of the time. Perhaps if they had just been through a traumatic event like these two, it might have pushed them into syncing up more.

make it so you can correct errors though. My chart has errors from decades old mental health misdiagnosis that were actually a brain tumor. Nobody seems able to fix. I was told they get more money for dealing with me because it is there, but they could put an asterisk next to it.

we might miss them so much we decide to replace them all with something else.

Well definitely more than pink suits and teeny cardboard signs. 🙄 But that would require a functioning spine.

I tried to warn my family. I was told to stop watching fake news. They are all pretty racist, hateful and highly abusive. There's no excuse for their rejection of whats right in front of theirs eyes except it gives them permission for their hate and self righteousness.
