Once done the result is pretty amazing though, the Super5 OLED dwarfing even the official Switch OLED in brightness, color gamut and contrast ✨

The process was very long and tedious though. Even being used to custom my retro handheld consoles (having moded nearly all of them including some light soldering), it took me a good 3 hours to complete it start to end.

Pretty impressed by all the content of the box, with all the tools needed, a compartimented box for the numerous Switch Lite screws along with some replacement cables if things turns wrong (as it can)

I guess I’m biaised since it’s the one we’re so used to and have an emotional connection with, but as good as some proposals for the PlayStation 1 may be, they ended up with the best one.

One unpleasant finding though is the statement that the company comply to local law for child labour, not employing any person under the age of… 15 yo (14 for some local laws). Some pictures seems to display young people in the manufactory line, but difficult to guess for sure.

This is a gold mine, include pictures (even a video), displaying notably RG35XXH production line and quality insurance, R&D office, factory address, total workforce, materials origins, certifications documents, etc.

I never really got into Pokémon (I know, beat me), BUT my daughter made a drawing of Poussacha (french for Sprigatito) that was published in the french edition of Pokémon Magazine. So I guess I will go with this one!

Found a Trim UI Smart Pro and a R35S at my local retailer shop! …at an obscene ridiculous price. For reference those are nearly the price of a brand new Switch/Switch Lite. When confronted the vendor said he "did his research and that its the price", and that "people bought a lot of them". 🤡👺🤬

After enjoying the Lord of the Rings - Ring of Powers two seasons show far too much, I started to play Shadow of Mordor (2013).
I’m really impressed by it, the rich and intricate gameflow especially is impressive, it’s difficult to not see it as one of Zelda BotW main influence 🔎

J’ai un « ami » Facebook tendance facho-royaliste, ça fait des années qu’il shitpost des trucs misogynes/racistes avec genre 2 likes par post, et d’un coup maintenant il a genre 100+ likes par post avec le même genre de contenu éclatés. Il s’est passé quoi avec l’algo Facebook au juste ?!
