Also, I could be wrong, but I believe Google's AI overviews don't count as generative AI. They just put together the key points related to your search from various results, so it's more of a algorithm-based AI than a generative one. Anyone is welcome to correct me, but I think it's okay to use.

I believe the generative AI they're referring to is specifically things like image and text generating services. So if you're avoiding the use of sites like ChatGPT and Novel.AI, you're good.
