I asked rhetorically, given the SC's judgment, what was the remaining point of medical transition. I don't think it is fair to characterise that as saying that that is the only point of all gender transition, do you?

And quite a lot of "I'll piss where I like" including threats to piss on TERFs. Which as Richard Dawkins points out is classic male territory-marking behaviour.

This piece I wrote in 2021 has seemed evergreen for far too long. At last it's starting to feel prophetic.

Who do you think is going to applaud you for this? The reality-believing lesbians and gay men you betrayed? The feminists you vilified? The employees still afraid to say a man can't be a woman because of the climate of fear you have fostered?

And then you change your position. You say stand down everyone, actually dissent's ok. All trans people are entitled to is the same rights not to suffer discrimination as anyone else. No-one has to pretend to believe anything they don't!

You encourage a particular minority to make wholly unreasonable demands, and to treat all dissent from their worldview as bigotry. You encourage them, and employers, to enforce those demands with threats to jobs and livelihoods. You wreck many careers.

Now they have sharply pulled the rug from under the feet of their clients and allies by substituting a perfectly reasonable definition of "transphobia" - fear or dislike of someone because of their "trans" status.
