i started drawing this weeks ago but gave up on it because i got halfway through and realized I didn't like how it looked and i wasnt confident i would be able to bring it together. or that the amount of time it would require would be worth it. but i'm really really happy with it in the end :)

i was gonna make adolede into one of those fish that shoots jets of water to hunt bugs, but they aren't really that interesting-looking :( so instead she's a blue cichlid

this is one i could easily redo 100 times better these days, but i don't think i ever will. it doesn't fit my redraw criteria because i liked it plenty back when i made it 😂 but the concept is just so appealing to me, the vaguely priestly pose, the sign language letters, the matrix lighting

i gotta find that "small rock" scatter brush again too dang. that's a good texture, perfect for scales. i forgot about it since it wasn't included as a default on the newer version of CSP i downloaded when i swapped machines after i finished Hush

i don't know what they're "about" at all or what happens in them but if 10 years of robbie sending me fanart of Majima has taught me anything it's that those games are a spiritual successor to jjba

i've never actually played a yakuza game but from what i know about them there would absolutely be a guy drinking diet coke at the bar and commenting on it like a sommelier

i always wanted to draw Flash Point in that golden age comics spot-inks sort of style, but it's just not how my brain works! so i have a few pieces i really tried to experiment with that, and i still havent done any i really like 😅and now flash point might not even be a comic in the end so yanno

this is a piece i can see myself redrawing sometime. my rule is usually that i dont redraw anything unless it was something i was unsatisfied with at the time i drew it and just didn't know how to fix it at the time. I did learn a lot from it back then but i know i could actually do it Correctly now

i'd like to redraw these but honestly i dont think there'd be as much of a difference as i like to imagine there would be 😂 the anatomy's a little wack but honestly i still love them, esp the alastair one. love those colors
