curious why Green's weren't included when they have more seats than Reform?

I don't think the Fossil Fuel industry wouldn't have the hold it has over our society if it wasn't for such effective PR and advertising campaigns. It's one of the core reasons they've managed to sow so much disinformation over the years - you are 100% doing the right thing!

We don't need the human race to act on a massive scale, but we need enough of them to. The reforms George suggested are good too. It's not one single thing that will work, but lots of good different things, and some half good things.

There a far more climate successes outside of COP than in, focus on the groups pushing for change outside of that.
Thats my own reccomendation. For UK @zero-hour.bsky.social @stopcambo.bsky.social are a great place to start.

Even worse is that from some on the ground interviews, it seems that many were out protesting not for that issue alone and many were out because of the poor pay that farmers deal with, it's just that because the Clarkson was decided by the media as being a main spokesperson, thats all we heard about

So many important points made here Nick - It's easy to forget the carbon footprint of just existing in your home, particularly when it's his cold! But this is one of those issues that if dealt with properly would have some massive benefits for people and the environment.

Its also not "retreating into a bubble" to want to interact with people properly.

How is anyone supposed to use a platform flooded with people who are clearly not interested in a conversation at all and are left completely unmoderated?

All this thread shows is how mixed up the country is. 18% favorability for Adrian Ramsay, with 28% highest favorability being Farage feels like there some easy work in persuading people away from Reform.

He wouldn't know I guess, he's never there

Hopefully it won't be consumers who get lumped with the bill, 'cause if it won't be paid for with money, they will pay in severe hose pipe bans and water shortages due to failing infrastructure.

There is the @takebackwater.bsky.social campaign that is worth supporting on this

Feels like banning Fossil Fuel lobbyists should be more of a priority - how will the UN define a country that wants to make progress on this?

Great reporting from COP and happy to atleast see these conversations happening...
