Super important, and something I wish I'd known before going to college for art/animation! Monetizing your hobbies can lead to some serious burnout; it's been 5 years since I graduated, and still something I once did nonstop I can't bring myself to do at all. Your hobbies can just be hobbies.

Like I would love to be drawing more again but most of the time I just don't wanna or can't bring myself to. The only thing I've managed are some pencil sketches of my cat, maybe I just need to spend some time focusing on realism specifically?
