Music lover. Lexophile. Feminist. Reader of many books.
I write about grief, neurodiversity, and kindness.
To my fellow bereaved mothers.
To those of you who have lost your mother.
To those of you who wanted to be mothers but couldn’t.
To those of you who have a troubled relationship with your mother.
To those of you who have a troubled relationship with your child.
Love to all of you 💜❤️

This poem! I often speak of my grief as a sort of prism through which I experience everything, an integral part of me that affects every aspect of my life in good ways and bad. My grief is love. My grief is pain. My grief is empathy. My grief is me. Because I loved and still do. #shareyourgrief

Rereading The Brothers Lionheart when you’ve lost a child is intense and emotional. It was my favourite book as a child, and one of the books I remember most vividly.
What was your favourite book growing up?

I’m reading about the psychology of objects. What is an object that you possess that has a history and meaning that goes beyond the object itself?
The objects in the picture belonged to my son, and they contain so many stories.
