Fuck. I hope the lawsuits undo this really, really soon. This is just outright evil, I can’t believe this is our reality.

I’m deeply hopeful that the lawsuits will put an end to this particular piece of his bullshit. It’s very clearly illegal, as Congress is 100% the authority on government funding and spending. And hopefully there are enough Democrats with spines left in Congress to stop actual legislation.

The only thing I can honestly think of is if he suddenly declared an open border and doubled Biden-era funding for trans youth programs. But I literally can’t think of anything actually evil and heinous he could do that they wouldn’t eat up and endorse without question.

It’s such a slap in the face. He should have just switched parties and been honest with himself and us. His Yea vote on the Laken Riley Act just rubbed salt into the wound for me after all his other bullshit.
