I didn't know Pangolins could swim.

Honestly, I think they swim better than I do.

But that's a very low bar.

I thought myself how to swim as an adult. So I swim funny.

It's a shark with a dark top with a white belly in water, which is just a gradient green to blue background. It's only the front half of the shark from side view. There are white dots in the water to represent bubbles. The shark looks like it's side eyeing you.

This is a Javan Green Magpie juvenile. They are first blue and eventually turn green as they get older.

It's in a basket because it's in conservation. Wild ones have much better nests.

Hey look. It's a human!

I rarely draw people. But when I do, they're indigenous people working hard to keep a majestic and murderous bird alive.

I really do need more practice with people. But I just want to draw animals over and over.

Another illustration from my upcoming book!

The Phillipines Eagle is critically endangered and is considered the largest eagle in the world.

It didn't occur to me how scary they are until I saw a picture of one flying with a full grown monkey in its talons.

Turtles are best! This is a Roti Snake Necked Turtle. It's neck is looooong. It can't even hide it's head in its shell.

This illustration is part of the Endangered Animals facts book I drew. It will launch soon!

I'm slowly making progress with my painting. It's not done. I had to stop. Because I discovered mold on the back of my canvas!

I need to kill em! Hopefully me trying to get rid of it doesn't destroy my painting.

Been trying to do a different style of painting than I usually do. Trying to be more rough with the strokes and add texture. But ahhhh.

I bought pouring medium and paint so I could make the goop on my abstract painting. I learned many things while doing it.

Unbleached titanium and Buff titanium are practically the same thing colour wise. But they're made of different compounds. Buff titanium is imitating unbleached titanium.

This is Turmoil and Hope.

More goop! I wasn't happy with how it turned out previously so I got myself some pouring medium to really get that goopy dripping down effect I wanted.

Abstract art is fun. 🎨 But wow. It's also expensive to make.

I'm trying to paint my cat! This is still a work in progress! I hope things go well.
The board is painted blue with various shades and the cat is 3/4 done. The cat is grey with some warm browns. I don't know the breed of the cat, so I can't say. But it's not a fluffy cat. The cat is board is now painted off white. And there are blocks of colours in the cat sketch. An A5 wooden board painted orange with a sketch of a cat on it.

Drew concept art for a comic me and a friend were working on.

These are two mythical trees. One growing from the sky, the other, underwater. Despite being from different realms, they meet at the surface of the water.

Also there's a giant crab in there.

I took a pottery lesson and tried making a cat food bowl for my cat. She eats too fast sometimes but also loses interest in food if it's too hard to get to.

So I had to make a bowl slow her down a little but not hinder her too much. I have no idea if it will work.

Back to Riverwoods again! I drew this fox for the boardgame by Good Spirit Games. 🎨

The challenging part was trying to make the fox look handsome. ✨

I've been having a lot of conflicting feelings recently. So I tried doing some abstract art to deal with/express them. Practically Art Therapy.

I wouldn't call it cathartic or anything. But it did give me something not stressful to focus on.

No life. Only colours.
