Correction. You've been paying for the mortgage AND at least 20% over that. Likely 50%+.

No landlord will rent a home if it's not making them profit over ALL their expenses on the property...

And that manager just gave you ALL the leverage on the negotiations table. They should be fired.

I once had to literally tell the person on the phone asking for something done I wouldn't be able to do what they were asking me to do, which I had already started doing when they called, until I finished the call... 😵‍💫

I see I'm "lucky" enough to be squarely in the "this [n]-hour meeting could have been a 3-line email, with two of those being" Hello" and "best wishes".

Because seriously, leave me out of your meetings and just tell me what you need me to do... 😭

... And now I'm reminded of the time when, while reading a court decision, there was one passage that was very on-point, and simultaneously sounded extremely familiar.
Quick search on the documents showed the judge had used my own words verbatim on that passage.
I was rather chuffed about it 😀
