Bad idea, and there are some flaws in his argument. First, basing participation on 2020 during COVID. Second, assuming random choice would not affect results, especially in local elections. Third, using an incentive from Australia where voting is mandatory.

We could easilycut billions from government spending: no more “use it or lose it” during the final month of the fiscal year without dire need. (I didn’t use 2020-21 because of COVID).

Do you want to know who’s manipulating the next administration? Although this book was written in 2019, it’s even more relevant now. We’re at the eve of a federal govt run not by politicians but by those who want to remake our country.
