I intended to get an oceanography degree with Ross Heath at Scripps. Naive 1980 me thought I could get this exact issue settled with good science and good intentions. As it turned out, life pivoted. I probably would have been crushed by corporate entities long, long ago.

Whoa. I hope you have good homeowners insurance! I thought it was pure hype when TV weather people said "possibility of baseball sized hail".

That explains a whole lot of his toxicity. Bullied people *can* turn into the worst power-mad bullies, and men who buy into the Charles Atlas myth-stream are among the worst
