MTG is leaving Congress because she’s served five years on her leave date, and most likely qualifies for pension & benefits for doing absolutely nothing except stir trouble for MAGA and Project 2025. She served a purpose, now dead weight. But I’m sure she’s got other plans.

Another reason Donald can get away with this is that he and Pamela Jo Bondi have already devised a plan to block the release of the files. At Donald's request, Bondi just started a new, "ongoing investigation" into Epstein that, per DOJ rules, will prevent the release of any evidence.

This is just theater for MAGA. If Trump REALLY wanted the Epstein Files released, he doesn't need Congress. He could just call Pam Bondi and order her to release them. He hasn't. And won't. Had a routine MRI yesterday. Silly me, I forgot to ask the doctor what she was concerned about or what she was looking for. I even forgot to ask which part of my body she was looking at. Oops!
