There was a time that imposing a tax on certain imported goods would result in Americans rising up against their rulers. These days the rulers just have to lie to them about what a tariff is and they cheer the tax they're forced to pay.

Survived Seattle's 'bomb cyclone' event relatively unscathed apart from PTSD from a 2015 wind event. I gained a renewed appreciation for a warm house after 24 hours of no power & little sleep. Tomorrow is soon enough to start picking up heaps of evergreen branch windfall & assorted detritus...

The Bushwick Book Club is a group that reads books and then commissions local artists and musicians to produce an evening of live music inspired by the story.

The Seattle branch just announced that next season they'll be devoting a show to Banned Book Club! I CANNOT WAIT!
