First thing I’m eating now I’m back in NYC. Along with a tall iced coffee, of which there was basically none in England. Some places claim to serve it but it’s not the proper thing. I could probably clean up opening a cold brew spot where US tourists gather. Tho I’d rather shoot myself.

Thank you. I never felt this way about my prior dog Traddles or my childhood dog Champie, tho I adored them and cried when they died. But it didn’t go on and on. Chuff was a person.

Such a poignant dream last night. In it Chuffey, who passed almost 2 yrs ago, reappeared. I kept commenting as I held & loved him that THIS time was different because everyone ELSE saw & felt him too. He was really there, tho I knew it was impossible. I still miss him despite Zeesa & time.

All aboard the QM2! I’ve never been on a transatlantic or any cruise ship except once as a little girl just to see off my grandma’s friend sailing from Manhattan to France. That was probably in 1967 or so.

Next to cathedral was a medieval parish church with a Doom Painting that was painted over by T Cromwell, rediscovered circa 1830 and then again forgotten.

Went to Coventry today to visit a friend. On recommendation of @iammilliam.bsky.social saw the modern cathedral, which memorializes WWII dead & 💀 offers a charming sense of inclusion to all comers. I was moved and agog.
