FTR when we bought our home in 1990 our mortgage guy forged our signatures on some document without our knowledge. I’d posit that most mortgages have some technical flaw.
We’ve long since paid our mortgage off btw.

He doesn’t even use email himself. I guess he believed not using email would keep him safe.
Not so much.

Undocumented people can’t get mortgages.
His buddies in private equity are the ones buying large numbers of homes, particularly with cash, reducing the available supply for individual buyers, pushing up prices. It’s a trend since the 2008 financial crisis & is often linked to increased rents too.

NY04. Our congresswoman is running for reelection.
She does have qualifications, but quite a few of her votes have been very troubling for me & many of her 2024 supporters.
She is only minimally better than the MAGAt she replaced.
Unfortunately it seems unlikely she’ll get a strong primary opponent.
