Almost 30 years ago, I waited outside the door of a convention center where Walter Payton was speaking with at-risk young men. Crowded out by others, I forlornly went to the other side of the car. He scooted over to the window, flashed his winning smile, and gave me a wave. What a sweetheart!

I saw them twice last year, also from my driveway in Northern Illinois. My iPhone captures the color much better than the naked eye, although I could very faintly see the pinks and greens.

Missed the end of the Warriors game. Stood in my driveway in Illinois and took pictures of tonight's Northen Lights.

Got some good pictures of them warming up at Chase Center before the game against the Valkyries.
