We took off on our ponies all day! Letting them graze in fields near our forts and hideouts... finding/making new trails in forests.

Overall the internet has made us busier and more stressed out!
IMO it has been 40% good & 60% harmful. So yes, I would go back to the 80-90s fun!

No access to shade is ANIMAL ABUSE. So is standing on cement for extended hours. This causes a lot of pain in their joints. Never mind 16 hrs working on the paved streets. Yes, proper shoes can absorb some of the concussion but not all.

I showed horses for years... never again. All of it exploits.

I pushed for such comments but we had to stick to nutrition!

Believe me I get it! I teach courses on diet and its impact on the enviro/planet/biodiversity but unfort much of this is seen to be too politically charged when coming from an "unbiased" entity.

never mind that, the dairy [lobbyists] are a main source of continuing education / resource materials for dietitians.

I will post a pic when I find them - I cleaned out my home office and had drawers of educational materials - ALL DAIRY.

Free conferences, handouts you name it. Ugh.

I have a Ridgeback & I recognize that POKE! It's b/c they'd like to grab but resist that predatory instinct b/c they are obeying! lol.

Mine used to poke my rescue rabbits like that when they were in my lap... "oh nothinnnng ... dum da dum..."
