I never know what to say in these.

(But Keane and Cerian fans, say hi!)
Even if closed captioning doesn’t always get it right, sometimes it gives you a perfectly cromulent description.

Impressive indeed, @dropout.tv

This @keaneofficial.bsky.social thread is important, so I'm also reposting it with alt text.

You guys, in trying to write a silly response to someone, I may have inadvertently written a halfway decent short bio?

I've found that I need a straw to (mostly) drink reliably these days, so I thought it would be good to have my own travel straws, just in case. Finding longer ones for single-serve bottles proved challenging.

But finding this particular set, well, let's just say it makes things easy.

Hello, friends. I have not been catching up on things here for a few weeks because everything is a bit overwhelming.

But, I thought I'd share some blue skies as a way of welcoming @rdhughes.bsky.social to this place. (Thank goodness yesterday's literal storms passed to leave a pretty sky behind.)

(And because I am a little ridiculous, these will go with the print -- with the full band! -- the lovely Ping helped me procure in November. I think it's a nice set, all told.)

(More distraction from *gestures* everything.)

In one of the quickest shipping turnarounds I've ever had, the Keane prints by Jon Stone I ordered the other day have already arrived -- delivery from London within 36 hours!

Now I just need to make my space presentable enough to display them.

Nice!

Here's my version of that moment... or probably a second later?

What a wonderfully helpful suggestion there, Disney+. I would never have even considered it, were you not so clever and astute to put it across my path.

One of my favorite things from the old Twitter days is Richard responding to someone about this song.

Nothing better than a band member being a fan of the band.

If you see this post a concert picture you took this year.

(Here you go, Valerie; here's one from a few hours before yours.)

A friend-shaped book if ever there was one.

When I open a star, I pinch the straw in the middle and tear the paper, making two roughly equal halves.

I've been doing this since the late '80s. I don't think I've ever seen anyone else do this.

So why?

Today's the anniversary of Tom Chaplin's debut solo record, "The Wave." I missed out on it at the time, but I've come to know and love this beautiful album.

I even wrote about how the song "See It So Clear" really connected with me in an unexpected way.

As I'm getting ready to leave London in the morning, I can say that it's been lovely, but also, what the what, England? This is not the weather British cliches have promised me!
