Exactly. And I’m not sure he could replicate his success as PM.
Not to mention someone would have to stand aside for him in a very very safe seat which is still risky with Farage’s lot waiting to swoop.

I’m not convinced Andy Burnham wants to get back to SW1. He was talking at a party meeting in Crewe last night and is clearly and rightly very proud of what has been achieved in GM. But his work is not done and he has a vision for further development and improvement.

Can somebody with a large following launch a petition telling the Government and the Labour Party to come off it? Get enough signatures for it to be debated in Parliament.

I think Cameron should be lower. There was no leadership from him in the run-up to the referendum; he completely failed to argue convincingly the Remain case.

I absolutely loved it and I’m in awe of how you got inside that young woman’s head and life in America. Have you lived there? The small details were amazing, adding to the story’s credibility.
