Enjoy! I am a resident of Southport but still go each year. Always ideas to pick up as well as plants and gardens to admire. Got away with only buying 4 plants this year - phew!

Did you stand tall, chin up, to assess the other’s height? My partner is 6’7 ( I’m 5’2 and not intimidated 😂) and always walks extra tall if he thinks there is a chance that someone matches his height.

Living in an area where Natterjacks breed, we are warned to keep dogs out of any ponds. They may disturb breeding toads or damage young tadpoles, but also because Fipronil, found in dog flea treatments, can wipe out water based insect populations and hence threaten the toads food sources.

Ours still had bees on it in December and it is heaving with berries this year and the blackbirds are feasting on them.
