A 1ml or 3 ml syringe makes short work of refilling cartridges. I do it frequently.

I put a pillowcase over it for when the buttermilk stage arrives 😁

I soaked Lady Sheaffer pens in vinegar 24 hours, used bulb syringe to blow out the nib, then rinsed with water and dried on soft towel. After trying different things for more than 10 years, this worked!! Smooth writing, good ink flow. I’m so happy!!!

I bought the black Viper. Love it!! No hard starts even when it sits for a few days.

Making homemade bread and journalling all the wonderful things and people in my almost 25 years as a paramedic. Trying to purge the 3 "HORRENDOUS" managers and focus on the 2 dozen good ones I've had and the amazing Paramedics and patients I met along the way!!

Love it!!

Problem is for me, many of them are generic brands with no labels. I know my Schaefer pens, my Parker pens. The others I don’t know.

Thank you. I find some of my best ideas come about after 2-3 pages. Julia Cameron wrote about Morning Pages. 3 pages every morning to stimulate creativity.

My physiotherapist said to stretch the shoulder /pecs to eliminate carpal tunnel. It has worked for me for years!! Bend arm 90 degree angle. Hand and forearm against a wall. Gently lean shoulder forward and hold. Do both arms several times per day.

I like the feel of it, the weight of it, the way it writes. Not sure if I am doing something wrong in filling, but it stops writing while there's still ink in the converter. Is the converter supposed to "follow" the ink down the barrel??
January 31, 2025 at 3:52 PM
I have several converters where the knob no longer turns ... they fit the pen they're in, so I can't replace them easily (I've tried). For that reason I use a syringe to fill them. It works - I need to find a blunt-tip though ... sharps can be dangerous!

Jump in ... the water's fine!!

Totally fountain pens (although I seem to gather good ball point as well).

Very much. I like the weight, I like the medium nib, it will post, but not solidly. Ink flows very nicely on the page.

Thank you.

I love that case. I did have one glass dip, pen, and it arrived broken. It would cost me more to send it back than I paid for it. They said they were sending a new one, so we’ll see. Do you like them?
January 30, 2025 at 12:35 AM
I actually thought it might be a brush. It’s not. It’s a very nice medium nib. Maybe the brush refers to the beautiful engraving of a Ferris wheel on the grip.

I was astonished to find out several of my friends cannot read cursive.
